As time goes on more and more teens are trying to look like the latest celebrities. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner are making cosmetic surgery the â€Å"It† thing. Cosmetic surgery should not be given to teens. Cosmetic surgery is risky and should not be used as a quick fix for self-esteem and body image. Cosmetic surgery is the procedure of enhancing the patient’s appearance. Teens seeking cosmetic surgery is becoming more common. There are certain surgeries that are common in teens that get cosmetic surgery. People believe that cosmetic surgery should be banned for people that are under the age 18, and some may question where do parents draw the line in allowing their underage child to receive cosmetic surgery. With getting cosmetic surgery there can be many complications to receiving the surgery in general, especially with getting it at a young age as well as things to consider if still wanting to proceed with cosmetic surgery. Cosmetic surgery is quite common with people in their 20’s and 30’s, but what causes teens at such a young age to want to get a surgery that could be permanent.
